SPOIL MOM TO BE WITH THIS FALL BABY SHOWER
While there's no rules that your baby shower needs to follow the seasonal cues, sometimes it's nice to embrace the season and spoil mom-to-be in style! I personally can't resist the color navy and adding a gingham or buffalo check is one of my favorite tricks to add print and pattern to a party without it taking over the entire feel of the decor!
Baby Shower Pro tips:
1. KEEP IT SIMPLE
Since this baby shower was hosting a small group, I wanted to keep my budget under $100 so I kept it as simple as possible with just a few elements of decor on the actual table where we'd spend the majority of our time visiting. I always vote for disposable tableware so it's the easiest cleanup for me and with this lovely gold silverware and plates it looks elevated while still being hassle free!
2. PLAN YOUR MENU IN ADVANCE
I typically opt for brunch when entertaining. It's just the easiest! You can tend to please most guests with a granola bar, pancake buffet, simple fruits and OJ or mimosas! But even with a simple menu I prep as much as I can in advance so it's ready for set out and try to limit myself to only 1-2 warm menu items to ensure I don't spend the entire gathering in the kitchen!
3. BOOKS in PLACE OF CARDS
One of my favorite baby shower hosting tips is to ask the guests to bring books in place of cards for the mom to be! Cards have gotten so expensive these days and often get tossed right after the event, simply ask the guests to sign a note on the book they bring and now the parents to be and baby have a library of books to enjoy together!
There's endless options when it comes to baby showers and sometimes that's the fun of hosting, you know mom to be best and you can mix and match until you find the perfect combination to spoil the new parents and baby.
